As Project Finance Specialist you support the Project Finance team in the development and financing of renewable energy projects across Belgium and selected international markets. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the financial foundation of our projects from the ground up in an international and energetic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare financial models, investor presentations, due diligence files, and bankability materials.

  • Coordinate workflows among technical, legal, and financial teams to ensure smooth progress of project finance transactions. You are responsible for bringing all relevant stakeholders and information together.

  • Track deadlines, deliverables, and documentation throughout financing processes.

  • Negotiate and close the financing deals, supported by your experienced colleagues.

  • Assist in improving and structuring internal project finance processes, templates, and tools.

  • Ensure follow-up on contractual obligations linked to financing arrangements (reporting requirements, conditions precedent, compliance items).

  • Contribute to financial analysis, scenario assessments, and cash-flow forecasting for ongoing and upcoming projects.

  • Conduct targeted research on financing trends, regulatory updates, and market benchmarks in renewable energy.

  • Help identify new financial partners or instruments relevant to current and future projects.

  • You bring 3–5 years of experience in project finance, with strong capabilities in financial modelling and transaction structuring, ideally within the renewable energy sector or a related industry.

  • You combine analytical strength with a pragmatic, hands‑on and entrepreneurial mindset. You will work closely with the Project Finance Lead, who provides structured guidance and on‑the‑job coaching while giving you the opportunity to further develop your expertise and expand your responsibilities.

  • Strong communication skills, comfortable interacting with internal teams and external stakeholders.

  • Fluency in English, additional languages are a plus.

  • To be eligible for this role, you reside in Belgium and hold a valid work permit.

  • An excellent opportunity within a dynamic and growing company, where you will developing hands‑on experience in financing processes, stakeholder interactions with banks and investors, financial modelling, and the internal coordination of complex renewable‑energy projects (solar, wind, hydrogen and renewable heat).

  • A full-time, open-ended contract. (no consultancy)

  • Flexible working arrangements, including homeworking up to 2–3 days per week.

  • Current workplace in Braine-l’Alleud, with relocation to Halle in 2026.
