## About this Role
We are seeking an experienced IPVPN Network Operations professional to support multiple IP networks and platforms, ensuring high-quality infrastructure monitoring, fault diagnosis, incident triage, and first-line operational support. This is a 24x7 shift-based role based in Pune, Bangalore, or Ahmedabad, supporting critical network services and contributing to service stability, customer experience, and operational excellence. The role offers exposure to enterprise IP, Ethernet, and data technologies across a global telecommunications environment.
## What you’ll do
* Monitor IP networks and platforms for alarms, events, and service-impacting incidents.
* Perform alarm triage and raise incidents or tickets based on risk, impact, and operational procedures.
* Carry out fault diagnosis and execute first-line resolution activities to restore service quickly.
* Escalate incidents in accordance with established customer and internal processes.
* Support routine infrastructure maintenance activities across network environments.
* Contribute to change management, problem management, and operational improvement initiatives.
* Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to minimise service disruption and improve network availability.
* Provide technical input for fault reports, service reviews, and operational communications.
* Support deployment and operational readiness of new technologies, services, and solutions.
* Execute simple fault remediation activities through approved change processes.
## Who you are
* Experience in telecommunications, network operations, or a similar technical environment with a strong understanding of IP networking technologies.
* Sound knowledge of Ethernet, IP, and data networking technologies.
* Familiarity with networking platforms and solutions from vendors such as Cisco, Alcatel, Nortel, and Juniper.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a methodical approach to fault management.
* Ability to remain effective when working to demanding deadlines and operational priorities.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
* Understanding of IT-based service environments and operational processes.
* Demonstrated willingness to learn new technologies and continuously develop technical expertise.
* Degree-level education or equivalent qualification.
