Senior Research Engineer - Voleon Securities

Voleon Securities is an early-stage market maker spun off from Voleon Capital Management. We apply state-of-the-art AI and machine learning techniques to real-world problems in finance, with a focus on market making / liquidity provision. For more than a decade, our affiliate Voleon Capital Management has led the hedge fund industry and worked at the frontier of applying AI/ML to investment management, becoming a multibillion-dollar asset manager. Voleon Securities is leveraging Voleon’s deep real-world experience in applying ML to financial markets with a goal to become one of the most profitable market makers on the street.

 

As a Senior Research Engineer embedded within our first quant strategy team, you will own the team’s research infrastructure and overnight pipelines. You will work closely with both researchers on the team and engineers who oversee our trading execution system. You will be expected to help optimize machine learning training and testing environments, architect and maintain data pipelines and job graphs, and help deploy new machine learning driven market making strategies to production. This role has the potential to become a lead research engineer across Voleon Securities.
