Test Technician

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated Test Technician to join our team in Chelmsford, Ma. As a Test Technician, you will be responsible for assisting the engineering team with the design and optimization of our current testing methods, as well as assist in testing simple discrete components. You will learn best PCB design practices, soldering, and basic radiation effects on discrete electrical components (diodes, bi-polar devices, MOSFETs). 

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot circuits and compare to schematic
• Rework printed circuit board and thick film hybrid assemblies
• Create test reports using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
• Define and build assemblies and test fixtures
• Use Oscilloscopes and other common electronics test equipment
• Multi-task and complete assignments in a timely manner

Qualifications:

• Basic knowledge of electronic test equipment (Oscilloscope, DMM, Spectrum Analyzer, etc.)
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 apps
• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment
• Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Because of the nature of the position, a US citizen is required
