Job Brief:

As a AI and Automation Operations Associate , you will be the central engine for operational excellence and innovation within Wahed's India region. This is a unique opportunity to move beyond executing tasks and become a strategic builder, working directly with the Operations Team to identify and solve our most pressing challenges. You will have the autonomy to design, build, and deploy intelligent automation solutions across Customer Service, Marketing, Compliance, and Internal Operations. If you are a curious and driven problem-solver, passionate about using technology—from SQL and scripting to AI and LLMs—to create significant business value, this role will provide a unique platform for you to make an outsized impact and accelerate your career.

Enhance Customer & Marketing Operations

Analyze customer experience (CX) ticket data to identify recurring pain points and develop automated solutions to improve response quality and speed.

Automate the aggregation and review of marketing metrics, competitor campaign analysis, and content topic research to improve team productivity and campaign effectiveness.

Automate Core Business Operations

Develop and maintain automated scripts and workflows for routine data tasks, including compliance reporting, internal client reporting, and daily reconciliations (fees, client holdings, transactions).

Build and manage dashboards that provide a single source of truth for regional KPIs, empowering leadership with actionable, real-time insights.

Design and implement automated workflows for reviewing compliance alerts and streamlining KYC/AML decisioning, reducing manual effort and improving accuracy.

Identify and eliminate points of friction in our compliance processes, creating a smoother and more efficient experience for our clients without compromising rigor.

Qualifications:

2-4 years of experience in an analytical, operations, or automation-focused role.

Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and experience with SQL for data extraction and analysis.

Hands-on experience with Google Apps Script to automate processes within the Google Workspace ecosystem.

Demonstrated ability to use low-code/no-code automation platforms (e.g., n8n, Zapier) to connect systems and build efficient workflows.

Practical experience leveraging AI/LLMs for complex reasoning, data analysis, or building decision-making tools.

Familiarity with data visualization and analytics tools (e.g., Metabase, MixPanel, Segment, Google Analytics).
