Responsibilities

- →High school diploma or GED required.
- →Minimum of 18 months of prior law enforcement; special police or armed security experience can not be utilized towards meeting this requirement.
- →Graduate of a U.S. civilian or military law enforcement academy or a federal/state corrections academy with firearms certification.
Language Skills:
- →Proficient in English (reading, writing, and speaking); able to write detailed incident reports.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
- →Current certification in First Aid, CPR, AED, Bloodborne Pathogens, and NARCAN from ARC or AHA.
Other Qualifications:
- →U.S. Citizen; 21 years of age or older.
- →Eligible for deputation under the U.S. Marshals Service Special Deputation Program.
- →Must pass a DOJ physical exam and agility test annually.
- →Must pass and maintain DOJ firearms qualification every six months.
- →Must meet DOJ standards for physical fitness, vision, hearing, and medical conditions as outlined in the SOW.
- →Must maintain a professional appearance and wear full uniform, including Level IIIA ballistic vest and all required duty gear, at all times while on duty.
