Child Caregiver - Lampasas, TX

A family in Lampasas, TX 76550 is seeking a compassionate and dependable attendant for their 11-year-old son with special needs. The family is homeschooling and is looking for someone who can support both his educational development and daily care needs in a structured, supportive setting.

• Monday through Friday, 2:00pm-9:00pm (some flexibility)
• Potential for split shifts depending on candidate availability

• Smoke-free home
• Two dogs
• Work-related driving will be done using the family’s wheelchair-accessible minivan

• →Provide attentive, hands-on care including feeding tube support, diapering, and comfort with exposure to bodily fluids
• →Assist with transfers and mobility support
• →Support use of the child’s communication device
• →Assist with homeschool curriculum and homework implementation
• →Document educational progress and daily activities
• →Step in to independently manage physical care needs in emergency situations
• →Maintain a safe, structured, and supportive environment

• Ability to assist with transfers and physical support needs
• CPR and First Aid certification required
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Comfortable working in a home with pets
• Willingness to learn (training will be provided)
