Nanny – Verona, NJ

A family in Verona, NJ 07044 is seeking an experienced, compassionate, and dependable part-time nanny to care for their preschool-aged son beginning in late August 2026. The family is looking for a nurturing caregiver who is comfortable supporting a child with speech delays and can provide a safe, engaging, and supportive environment after school.

• Monday–Friday Approximately 2:30 PM–4:30 PM each day
• Additional hours may become available during the winter months.
• Start Date: Late August 2026

• Smoke-free home
• The family has a dog; no pet care responsibilities are required.

• →Pick up child from Pre-K each afternoon
• →Provide attentive, loving, and safe care
• →Engage in age-appropriate play and activities
• →Support communication development and encourage growth and independence
• →Assist with routines until a parent arrives home
• →Occasional light meal preparation may be needed in the future

• CPR and First Aid certification required
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license 
• Comfortable driving during inclement weather conditions
• Comfortable supporting a child with speech delays and varied communication styles, including some sign language and nonverbal communication methods
• Patient, nurturing, and dependable personality

• All levels of childcare experience will be considered. The ideal candidate is someone who is willing to support the child's growth and development.
