WRP PVT LTD is seeking a skilled and experienced IT Engineer. He/She will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the company's IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network, while ensuring optimal functionality, security, and efficiency. It also includes troubleshooting problems and offering technical support to the team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of networks and computers/software. Required to be a self-starter, must be motivated and willing to work without much supervision. Should be able to manage a bigger team size.

Key Responsibilities:

- System Administration:
-- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software applications, and utilities.
-- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
-- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal system operation.

-- Creating and maintaining employees' accounts. (Includes Apple ID, clickup, slack, etc)

- Network Management:
-- Configure and maintain network equipment such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
-- Monitor network traffic and address connectivity and performance issues.
-- Implement security measures to safeguard the network against unauthorized access and cyber threats.

- Hardware and Software Maintenance:
-- Conduct regular updates, patches, and upgrades for software applications and operating systems.
-- Perform hardware maintenance, including repairs and replacements when necessary.
-- Manage software licenses and ensure compliance with licensing agreements.

- Backup and Disaster Recovery:
-- Implement and maintain data backup and disaster recovery solutions.
-- Develop and test disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity in case of system failures.

- Security and Compliance:
-- Monitor for security vulnerabilities and apply appropriate security patches and updates.
-- Enforce IT security policies and practices to protect against data breaches and unauthorized access.
-- Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and data protection laws.

- Help Desk and User Support:
-- Provide technical support to end-users, assisting with hardware and software-related issues.
-- Troubleshoot and resolve user-reported problems in a timely manner.
-- Maintain documentation of common technical issues and solutions.

- Vendor Management:
-- Coordinate with IT vendors and service providers for procurement, maintenance, and support of IT equipment and services.
-- Evaluate vendor offerings and recommend appropriate solutions for the organization's needs.

- IT Projects:
-- Collaborate with IT team members on the planning and implementation of IT projects.
-- Participate in the design and deployment of new systems, upgrades, and infrastructure improvements.

- Qualifications and Skills:
-- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
-- Proven experience as an IT Engineer or similar role.

-- Good knowledge of Apple products and tools.

-- Must be up to date regarding new tech in the market, e.g., knowledge about JIRA, Clickup, GitHub, etc.

-- Strong knowledge of network protocols, hardware, and software systems.
-- Proficiency in operating systems such as macOS, Windows, and Linux.
-- Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms.
-- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
-- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
-- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to system maintenance and security.
-- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsof Certified IT Professional) are a plus.

Experience Required:

Fresh Graduate OR 1+ year of relevant experience.

Full time - Onsite.
