- →Administer radiation therapy to patients per physician prescription and standard practice guidelines
- →Monitor patient safety and ensure compliance with all regulatory and quality standards
- →Maintain timely and accurate documentation of treatment records, imaging, and technical parameters
- →Manage supplies and equipment efficiently and report service needs
- →Provide exceptional patient care and customer service in all interactions
- →Perform other job duties as assigned
The Radiation Therapist delivers radiation therapy treatments in accordance with physician prescriptions and established clinical protocols. This entry-level role provides an opportunity to grow within a highly collaborative and mission-driven team. The ideal candidate demonstrates professionalism, accuracy, and compassion in patient interactions and treatment delivery. .
Requirements
~1 min read- Completion of a formal Radiation Therapy education program accredited by a mechanism acceptable to the ARRT
- 0–3 years of clinical experience in radiation therapy
- Certification and registration as a Radiation Therapist – R.T.(T), ARRT
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association required
- Note: New graduates without ARRT certification must obtain registry within one year of graduation from an approved program
- Basic knowledge of radiographic and radiation therapy equipment and procedures
- Familiarity with radiology systems such as RIS, HIS, and PACS preferred
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Attention to detail and adherence to safety and quality standards
