We are recruiting for a Growing Team Leader/Supervisor to join our expanding team within a modern glasshouse environment. This is a hands on leadership role, ideal for candidates with forklift experience who are looking to progress within production, horticulture, or food production.

You will lead a small team and support daily growing and production operations, ensuring targets are achieved safely and efficiently. This role offers long term career development within a supportive and high performing team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a small team to meet daily production and growing targets
• Operate Forklift Truck equipment to transport trays and materials
• Carry out mechanical harvesting of crops
• Operate sowing machinery and growing systems
• Use computer systems for harvesting, sowing, and production tracking
• Maintain high standards of health, safety, and hygiene
• Clean and maintain machinery and work areas
• Work closely with the Microleaf Supervisor to ensure smooth operations
  

Skills and Experience Required

• Forklift Truck FLT experience is essential
• Previous experience in production, horticulture, agriculture, warehouse, or manufacturing preferred
• Team leader, supervisor, or senior operative experience is desirable
• Strong work ethic with a practical and hands on approach
• Good attention to detail and organisational skills
• Reliable and flexible with the ability to work early morning shifts
• Positive attitude and ability to work effectively as part of a team

Working Hours

Monday to Friday 6:00am to finish (approximately 3:00pm)
Saturday 6:00am to finish (approximately 11:00am)
