Business Analyst (Business Lending)

As a Business Analyst, you will bridge the gap between business and technology to deliver tailored, fit-for-purpose solutions for the Business Lending Delivery Unit. Working within an Agile squad, you will ensure outcomes are delivered efficiently while adhering to appropriate risk frameworks and standards.

Additionally, you'll build strong stakeholder relationships across Product, Architecture, Design, Development and Testing teams, while gathering and synthesising requirements. You will document current and future state processes, identify improvement opportunities, and create clear user stories and acceptance criteria to support effective delivery of change.

You will work collaboratively with squad members, including Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Tech Leads and Engineers, to plan and deliver initiatives. You will also proactively identify risks and issues, applying established frameworks to manage and resolve them while ensuring solutions meet both business and customer needs.

• Demonstrated experience in business analysis within project or delivery environments, with strong capability in eliciting, documenting, prioritising and tracing requirements end-to-end. 
• Knowledge of financial services, ideally within Business Lending or loan application processes. 
• Solid experience working in Agile environments, with a clear understanding of Agile principles, practices and ceremonies. 
• Ability to translate complex business and technical requirements into practical solutions that meet stakeholder needs. 
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving and negotiation skills to address complex business challenges. 
• Proficiency in JIRA, Confluence and other Agile collaboration and documentation tools. 
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
