More information is available at www.india.whirlpool.in ## The team you will be a part of The Business Process team develops, implements and sustains cross-functional process improvement projects and business-wide improvement initiatives including training, mentoring, and consulting with Black Belts, Champions, and Green Belts. Identifies, suggests and implements best practices to facilitate best solutions and methods that will optimize processes in all areas of the business. ## This role in summary Responsible for Breakdown and Preventive maintenance of Press Tools, Foaming Mold, Vacuum Forming Molds, Cabinet Roll Former, Door Metal Lines, Spot Welding Fixtures ## Your responsibilities will include CRITICAL EXPERIENCE (Must have) ● Responsible for Breakdown and Preventive maintenance of Press Tools, Foaming Mold, Vacuum Forming Molds, Cabinet Roll Former, Door Metal Lines, Spot Welding Fixtures ● Inventory Management of Tool Spares & Tool Room Machine Spares ● Leading Cost savings ideas, Design improvements related to Tool Room ● Responsible for Development of NPI Projects - Tools, Moulds, Fixtures o Responsible for Overseas tooling Importing & Completion of Customs Documentation ● Know How of Tooling & Product 2d/3d Drawing ● Responsible to Reduce Tool room & Tooling related activity cost by Modifying or Develop Inhouse solutions by avoiding Outsourcing ● Responsible for ISO audits & Documentations OTHER HIGHLY VALUED EXPERIENCE ● Autocad & 3D Software ● Knowledge of ISO ● SAP Knowledge --- JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: ● Preventive maintenance of all Tools, Moulds, Fixtures, Spot Fixtures in plant ● Quick response to Tool room related breakdown & Resolve ● Keep Track on Inventories of Critical spares & Machine spares ● Trials, Buy Off & Inhouse commissioning of New Developments ● Cross Functional Coordination with Purchase & Finance team for New Tools, Spares etc RFQ’s , Supplier queries, Budget allocations ## Minimum requirements REQUIRED QUALIFICATION: Bachelor degree preferred in Mechanical Engineering / Tool Engineering Diploma EXPERIENCE: Minimum 10 years of experience in the Tool Room. ## Preferred skills and experiences REQUIRED FUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIES: ● Good Communication Skills (Interpersonal ,Negotiation ,Oral, Written Skills) ● Computer Skills (Autocad, 3d Softwares, SAP, Advanced Excel & power point) ● Toolroom Team Management (Machine operators, Die Fitters) o Shift Balancing of team --- Connect with us and learn more about Whirlpool India.
