More information is available at www.india.whirlpool.in ## The team you will be a part of The Finance Operations team reviews, evaluates, develops, implements, maintains and verifies internal and business controls for processes, systems, financial statements, journals and reports in compliance with corporate objectives and government standards such as the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) or the 8th Company Law Directive. Ensures that documentation for all processes across the organization is reviewed and updated periodically. May coordinate with external auditors to prepare the attestation of management assessment on internal controls. ## This role in summary Material Management Specialist - P2P/Invoicing ## Your responsibilities will include * Invoice Booking & Processing: Process high-volume incoming invoices, credit notes, and pre-payments directly in the SAP Invoice Cockpit. * Three-Way Matching: Validate invoices against Purchase Orders (PO) and Goods Receipt (GR) notes to ensure accuracy in quantity, price, and terms. * Discrepancy Resolution: Actively manage "kicked out" or parked invoices (MIR7) by coordinating with procurement, vendors, and warehouse personnel to resolve quantity/price mismatches. * Material Master/PO Maintenance: Verify that invoice entries match material master data, and update POs when necessary. * Workflow Monitoring: Monitor the automated invoice workflow to ensure timely processing, preventing bottlenecks. * Month-End Closing: Support finance teams during month-end closing by ensuring all invoices are posted or accrued accurately (GR/IR reconciliation) * Vendor Communication: Handle vendor inquiries regarding payment status and discrepancies in a timely manner. ## Minimum requirements Experience: 2–5 years in Accounts Payable, P2P, or Materials Management (Aviation or Manufacturing preferred). Systems Proficiency: Strong hands-on experience with SAP MM modules and Invoice Cockpit/VIM tools. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel and ability to handle large data sets. Knowledge: Strong understanding of three-way matching, inventory management, and tax compliance. Competencies: High attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and ability to meet strict SLAs. ## Preferred skills and experiences Accuracy rate of invoice matching against POs and GRNs. Timeliness of invoice processing (meeting agreed SLAs).
