Guest Service Assistant - Winter Season Only

With customer service at the center of what we do our Guest Services team leads the charge in being able to support our clients within Japan for any requirements they may have.

Often acting as the bridge between our booking agents, clients, and guides or instructors the Guest Service team plays a key role in managing all of the moving parts in our operation. To succeed in this role you will be friendly, efficient, and technologically savvy with the ability to manage multiple tasks at once whilst also being able to deliver on Whiteroom’s customer service standards by email, phone, and in person.

Based out of one of our busy sales fronts in either Niseko or Furano you will work with a close knit team of snow professionals to create amazing experiences for our clients.

• November 2026 to Mid-March 2027

Position Requirements:

• A customer service focus and a track record of delivering on customer expectations
• Previous experience working in Hokkaido is preferred but not essential.

• A background in sales
• Have good work ethic and be dependable and on time
• Great attitude, positive mindset, and can adapt to any situation
• Team Player that will be happy to work within a close team.
• Ability to problem solve and think independently.

Experience: 

• 1 to 3 seasons of snow industry experience is preferred.

Skills: 

• High level of English communication 
• Some basic Japanese preferred but not essential
• Strong working knowledge of the Google suite of products such as google drive alongside Microsoft Excel.
• Cash handling and basic accounting skills
