Want to challenge yourself at a purpose-led scale up AND make a difference in the world? Come join the revolootion!

We make eco-friendly products and donate 50% of our profits to provide clean water and help build toilets for the billions of people who lack proper access. So far, we’ve contributed over $18 million AUD (roughly $12.5 million USD) to fund sanitation projects around the globe. Basically, we’re really good at doing good.

With hubs in Australia, the Philippines, China, the US, UK and Europe, our amazing team of 200+ work to make the biggest possible impact for people and the planet. Over the next couple of years, we’re hoping to increase our annual donation tenfold to get us closer to our dream of everyone in the world having access to clean water and sanitation services.

About the Role

~1 min read

We’re looking for a passionate and purpose-driven Senior Designer (Retail & B2B) to join our Creative team. In this role, you’ll lead all design needs across our Retail and B2B channels, playing a key part in bringing the Who Gives A Crap brand to life in these spaces. This is an opportunity to directly impact how we show up in stores and with our business customers, using your design skills to help us make the world a better place. Reporting to the Associate Creative Director, this is a remote-first role.

  • Led the creative vision for a multi-touchpoint retail campaign for one of our biggest retailers, guiding the working team to a disruptive idea and overseeing execution from a tiny shelf wobblers to a full scale OOH plan
  • Audited and evolved our shopper marketing toolkit to keep our brand presence consistent, effective and beautiful
  • Partnered with our local teams to craft an engaging, highly creative pitch deck introducing us to a major global retailer
  • Delivered a unique brand activation for a B2B trade show that won the hearts of the hotel & accommodation industry
  • Collaborated with the brand design team to ensure our retail guidelines for Limited Edition were cohesive, easy to understand and translated our product from screen to shelf

You bring 6+ years of design experience and a strong portfolio showcasing work in the Retail or B2B space. You understand what’s required in physical spaces, having designed for experiential environments and you know how to connect digital brand assets to physical shopper marketing seamlessly. You have a deep understanding of the creative process and are proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Figma. You understand the nuances of print production just as well as digital.

You thrive on collaboration and proactively build key relationships with cross-functional teams like Retail, Marketing, and Operations. You can articulate your creative vision clearly and comfortable explaining the “why” behind the work.

You’re commercially sharp and can translate a complex creative brief into a highly creative, effective solution. You enjoy mentoring designers around you, offering feedback and sharing inspiration that motivates and encourages the team. You have experience working with external printers and production teams to ensure your designs are executed flawlessly.

Do you want your work to make the world a better place? Do you want to work with other people who feel the same way? What a coincidence — us too!

First off, as a certified B Corp™, we work to make a difference every day while maintaining the highest standards of social and environmental impact. With our most recent score of 125.5 we’re in very good company with other exceptional B Corps around the world.

We also believe that helping to make the world a better place should be rewarded accordingly – that’s why we offer competitive, market informed salaries, meaningful support towards healthcare for our team around the world, generous paid leave, tailored learning and development opportunities, and free toilet paper (yes, you read that right).

Our engagement surveys (thanks Culture Amp!) tell us that our team is really proud (95%) to work for Who Gives A Crap and, well, we couldn’t be more proud of that.

If you’re still reading, we think there’s a strong chance you might be our kind of person. Here’s the thing, though — research suggests that 60% of women and underrepresented folks might have already talked themselves out of applying. Even if you don’t check every box above, we want to encourage you to introduce yourself. We believe a diversity of perspectives and experiences makes a team stronger — and the stronger our team, the closer we are to delivering toilets and clean water for all.
