Precast Vault Technician

Job Summary:

It is the responsibility of each Vault Technician to optimize the profitability of Willbee Concrete Vaults by performing to the highest level of independence and efficiency in the following task categories:  performing assigned production, maintenance and service tasks, safely, and productively, ensuring proper care and maintenance of assigned equipment, and effectively functioning in any other capacity that ensures timely job completion while maintaining the highest level of quality.  Some of these tasks must be performed on a weekly or monthly basis, but all must be done safely, effectively, and in accordance with company policy.

Job Responsiblities:

• Responsible for stripping, prepping and producing vaults at a standard rate.
• Managing vault orders and production schedule according to must ship by date. 
• Maintains weekly supply inventory to support vault production. 
• Maintain weekly precast itmes, organized and enter inventory counts.
• Ensures all items produced meet Quality Standards. 
• Completes all required and assigned tasks in an accurate and timely manner.
• Must load all orders in a safe and efficient manner.
• Ensures that all tools, supplies and equipment are properly secured when not in use. 
• Ensures poper organization, cleaning and stocking of assigned work area. 
• Prepares items for next work day orders (folding of wires). 
• Cleaning and maintenance of vault shop conducted on a daily basis.
• Communicates with supervisor for order priorites. 
• Updates "Constraint Log" and communicates important information to the appropriate idividuals
• Continually seeks knowledge of new technoligies and stays current with technology used by the company. 
• Demonstrates good judgement and decision making.
• Mainatins cooperative working relationships with all members of the company team. 
• Makes best use of time during scheduled shift.
• Recognizes and performs duties which need to be performes although not directly assigned. 
  
• Employee must be aware and adhere to Willbee Concrete Vaults, LLC's drug and alcohol policies. 
• Performs any other task assigned by supervisor/manager
  

Knowledge and Skills

• 
  Must understand math to verify proper measurements/ production amounts. Must understand the Company’s Policies and Procedures.
• 
  Must have full use of the body and senses to be able to start up electric equipment, to operate it safely, and perform required physical tasks.
• 
  Must have experience and training in handling assigned equipment, and working with hand and power tools.
• 
  Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time and be able to work at a high level.
• 
  Must be able to lift and move in excess of 25 pounds.
• 
  Must have the ability to explain proper procedures to others.
• 
  Must collaborate with fellow employees to figure out what can be done to improve efficiency and better the product.
