About the Role

Wisr’s growth is tied closely to our deep relationships with mortgage and asset finance brokers and we are currently positioned as the leading consumer loan lender in the broker channel. As a Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for building trusted relationships with our brokers. Your core focus will be driving growth and application volume by proactively engaging with our current and new brokers to expand our footprint and increase application volume, while also strengthening and nurturing existing relationships to uncover fresh opportunities.

This is an exciting time at Wisr where you will be an integral part of identifying opportunities for further growth. With a strong sales mindset, you love being on the phone, speaking with a variety of brokers to support our State BDMs in achieving growth outcomes. 

Responsibilities

  • Supporting allocated State BDM’s in the management of Broker engagement, queries and scenarios including workshopping loan applications
  • Developing and nurturing strong relationships with existing broker aggregators as well as identifying opportunities for further growth
  • Actively engaging with the broker network, proactively reaching out to new brokers and re-establishing existing brokers to return to Wisr
  • Leading the preparation for State BDM’s participation in external events including the organisation of marketing materials and attendance if necessary. 
  • Coordinating and facilitating aggregator and direct broker accreditation and training process 
  • Review aggregator platforms on a regular basis to ensure information is up to date and aligned to Wisr’s latest offerings. 
  • Assisting with the promotion of the Wisr brand by updating marketing materials, attending promotion events and distributing material to external stakeholders
  • Providing regular feedback to the Head of Broker regarding broker activity and identifying opportunities to inform Wisr’s business strategy.
  • Working closely with the Head of Broker and wider Growth team on ongoing and ad hoc projects as needed
  • Reviewing, managing and optimising broker databases to ensure relevant data is accurate and up to date. 

You are an experienced sales professional, with a strong background working within consumer lending and a passion for building and nurturing relationships. With a proactive, sales-oriented mindset, you thrive on working to targets in a fast-paced, ever changing environment. With a strong background working in an outbound telephone-based role, you have experience within the lending or financial services space.

  • Strong loan application workshopping skills with the ability to review and assess various loan scenarios leading to a positive outcome for the customer.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to break down complex concepts
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within cross functional and internal teams
  • Excellent data hygiene, with the ability to interrogate datasets to draw insights
  • A self starter, with a bias for action - you proactively identify and action new opportunities without delay
  • Involvement in industry groups and networks, staying updated with trends and new ideas
  • A functional understanding of the Australian lending landscape, with experience working in consumer lending
  • Project management and account management skills 
  • An inquisitive, growth mindset
