Technician

We’re growing our Technician team at Tyseley depot and are keen to hear from qualified Technicians, as well as final-year engineering students who are looking to begin their career in the industry this year.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands on experience across levels 1–5 maintenance. You’ll be involved in maintenance exams, repairs, engine changes, interior and exterior works, heavy maintenance programmes, overhauls, modifications, and fleet-wide campaigns on the diesel units maintained at Tyseley. This includes WM Trains Class 172s and 196s, as well as CrossCountry’s Class 170s.
