Woodston Personnel are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Consultant in Interventional Cardiology to join a leading healthcare institution in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will provide expert diagnosis, management, and interventional treatment for patients with cardiovascular disease, with a strong focus on coronary and structural heart interventions. The postholder will contribute to the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred cardiovascular care across inpatient, outpatient, and emergency settings while supporting service development, teaching, research, and clinical governance activities.
Diagnose and manage patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions.
Perform interventional cardiology procedures including:
Coronary angiography
Percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI)
Primary PCI for acute myocardial infarction
Intravascular imaging and physiology assessment
Temporary pacing and other catheter-based procedures
Participate in cardiac catheter laboratory services and on-call rota.
Provide inpatient and outpatient cardiology consultations.
Collaborate with cardiac surgeons, intensivists, radiologists, and allied health professionals in multidisciplinary team meetings.
Ensure evidence-based clinical practice and adherence to national and international cardiology guidelines.
Contribute to strategic planning and development of cardiology services.
Support quality improvement initiatives and clinical governance programs.
Participate in audit, risk management, and patient safety activities.
Mentor junior medical staff, fellows, and trainees.
Participate in undergraduate and postgraduate medical education.
Contribute to clinical research, publications, and presentations where appropriate.
Maintain continuing professional development (CPD) and professional accreditation.

MBBS or equivalent medical qualification
US Board/ FRCS - Irish, UK, Canadian, New Zealand or Australian/ Diploma d'Etudes Specialises (DES)/ CIS French Board/ Fachart & Sub- Board/ Fellowship / Board / Fellowship / Sweden / Belgium / Finland / Spain
Must have at least 3-5 years of post-consultant or senior specialist experience
Eligible for consultant licensure with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS)
