Quinnipiac University invites applications for the position of Assistant Director of Peer Education, an impactful student-centered leadership role dedicated to enhancing academic success, student engagement, and peer-to-peer learning across the undergraduate experience. Reporting to and working closely with the Director of Peer Education, the Assistant Director plays a key role in the administration, growth, and continued success of the university's nationally recognized Peer Catalyst Program. This innovative initiative embeds trained peer educators within active-learning classrooms to support student achievement, foster belonging, and strengthen academic engagement. The Assistant Director is responsible for recruiting, training, mentoring, and supervising Peer Catalysts, guiding their personal and professional development while ensuring the delivery of high-quality peer support services. Through this work, the position directly influences the academic success and learning outcomes of Quinnipiac students while helping peer educators develop valuable leadership, communication, and facilitation skills. As a collaborative campus partner, the Assistant Director works closely with colleagues throughout the Learning Commons, First-Year Seminar leadership, faculty members, and academic and student support units to advance student success initiatives and promote innovative approaches to teaching and learning.
