Technologists at WorldQuant research, design, code, test and deploy firmwide platforms and tooling while working collaboratively with researchers and portfolio managers. Participate in the development and maintenance of our large-scale, distributed storage platform.
Interface with the users of the system to understand their use-cases and assist them in making the best use of our tools and platforms
Research best practices and propose feature specifications for our platform roadmap
Develop and maintain features and tools that complement our core platform offering

University Degree, preferably in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields.
At least 5 years of work experience.
Strong (English) communications skills and experience working in a global environment
Expertise in Software Life Cycle management methodologies and tools, including Git and JIRA (required)
Expertise in C/C++, and/or Go and/or Python (at least one required)
UNIX/Linux (required).
Knowledge on the design and development of large-scale, distributed storage systems (desirable)
