The ‘Project Manager – Dynamics 365 CRM Implementation’ is accountable for leading the delivery of World Vision New Zealand’s tightly bounded CRM implementation, from RFP response management and implementation partner selection through to design, build, data migration, integration, testing, cutover, go-live, hypercare, and post-go-live transition.
The role will ensure the CRM is delivered in line with agreed delivery principles, approved scope, governance requirements, budget, timeline, and quality expectations. It will coordinate internal business teams, technology stakeholders, global CRM stakeholders, vendors, and implementation partners to maintain disciplined delivery momentum and clear accountability.
This is a 12-month fixed-term opportunity to deliver a high-impact, organisation-wide change that will strengthen how we engage with supporters and deliver our mission.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the CRM project end-to-end through planning, design, build, testing, data migration, cutover, and go-live.
- Establish and manage strong project controls across scope, schedule, budget, risks, issues, dependencies, and change.
- Drive delivery governance and provide clear reporting, decision support, and escalation to senior leaders and the Board.
- Strong practical understanding of the Microsoft CRM technology stack, including Dynamics 365, Dataverse, Power Platform, Power Automate, model-driven apps, Azure DevOps, environment management, solution deployment, and release governance.
- Manage implementation partners, vendors, contracts, SLAs, invoicing, and milestone-based delivery accountability.
- Experience coordinating CRM delivery workstreams across requirements validation, solution design,
configuration, build, integrations, data migration, system integration testing, UAT, training readiness, cutover, hypercare, and BAU handover. - Oversee project budgets of $2M+ with strong financial discipline and transparency.
- Work closely with business and technology stakeholders to support change readiness, communication, and successful transition to business-as-usual.
- Ensure lessons learned are captured, operational handover is completed effectively, and a roadmap for future improvements is established.

About you:
- Proven experience delivering Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM implementations end-to-end.
- Strong experience leading complex CRM integrations, data migration, system testing, cutover, and go-live.
- Confident managing vendors, contracts, budgets, and delivery accountability in hybrid or outsourced delivery models.
- Strong understanding of CRM architecture, Microsoft Power Platform, Azure DevOps, and good solution governance practices.
- Experienced establishing effective governance, project controls, risk management, and executive reporting.
- Skilled in hybrid Agile delivery and able to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experienced supporting business readiness, transition planning, and handover into support and BAU teams.
- You bring a growth mindset, enjoy collaboration, and are comfortable working in a Christian organisation that values wairua and kaupapa.
- You have current eligibility to work in New Zealand.

- Based in Penrose, Auckland
- Full-time, 37.5hrs per week. (Fixed Term 12+months)
