Why we're hiring:
We are looking for a Workday Test Analyst to join the Workday Services Team providing full test and release/tenant management to all parts of the Workday programme in WPP. Within this role you will provide Test Analyst capabilities for several projects including country rollouts as well as BAU enhancements.
In this role you will be a member of the Global QA Hub, working within the Workday Services Team, and reporting to the Workday Test & Release Manager.
What you'll be doing:
- Execute functional, integration, regression, and UAT testing activities for Workday applications and integrations.
- Prepare and maintain test cases, test data, execution results, and defect logs.
- Support Workday release testing (R1/R2 cycles) and validate system changes against business requirements.
- Track and manage defects using Jira/Zephyr and work closely with functional and technical teams for resolution.
- Support business users during UAT and ensure testing activities meet quality standards and timelines.
- Participate in requirement reviews, sprint testing, and impact assessments for project and BAU changes.
- Validate inbound/outbound integrations and coordinate with integration teams during testing activities.
- Provide regular testing status updates, execution metrics, and issue tracking to stakeholders.
- Support environment validation, smoke testing, and deployment verification activities.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes, documentation, and automation opportunities.
What you'll need:
- Experience in Workday HCM and/or Workday Integrations testing.
- Understanding of Workday business processes, security, EIB, Studio, and web services.
- Knowledge of testing methodologies including functional, integration, regression, and UAT testing.
- Experience using Jira, Zephyr, or similar test management tools.
- Exposure to test automation tools/frameworks and SDLC processes.
- Strong analytical, communication, defect management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage priorities and work collaboratively in a fast-paced global environment.
- Good stakeholder coordination and reporting capabilities.
