As part of the Global Operations Centre (GOC), you will work closely with teams across the United States, Europe, and Asia to deliver high-impact solutions in a collaborative, multicultural environment. We are looking for a Commerce Lead who will:
- Commerce Discipline Leadership: Serve as the senior technical reference and knowledge lead for the commerce activation discipline, ensuring company and operational standards are consistently adopted across teams and accounts. Strengthen capability through coaching, enablement, and knowledge-sharing, and lead executive-level decisioning on high-impact, cross-account technical risks and trade-offs to ensure scalable, high-quality outcomes.
- Senior stakeholder & account partnership: Build and maintain senior relationships with WPP Media regional counterparts and key account stakeholders. Translate performance and operational insights into clear decisions and roadmaps and lead senior client/agency conversations.
- Team Leadership & Operational Development: Lead, inspire, and develop a team of operational professionals. Beyond daily problem-solving, proactively coach, mentor, and guide team members to master technical skills, enhance operational processes, foster career growth, and ensure high-quality standards at scale.
- Operational Excellence & Quality Assurance: Establish, maintain, and refine robust operational processes and quality standards for all commerce activities. Ensure consistent, high-performing execution and service delivery across multi-location teams, providing centralized support.
- Strategic Operational Support & Internal Collaboration: Provide critical operational support and insights to broader business and client-facing teams. Ensure that commerce initiatives are seamlessly integrated and effectively communicate technical strategies, performance data, and optimization plans to internal stakeholders to align overall business objectives.
- Structured Planning & Culture Alignment: Drive a highly structured and organized approach to campaign management and team development. Champion the company culture by delivering exceptional operational results in alignment with our core values, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
Requirements

- Deep technical proficiency in implementing, optimizing, and troubleshooting campaigns on major e-commerce and Retail Media platforms (Amazon, Pacvue, Skai, Instacart, Walmart, Target, Kroger, Criteo).We need a senior profile who has evolved but retains the passion and ability to get "hands-on" inside the platforms whenever the team or the business requires it.
- Proven ability to actively engage with vendors to resolve complex technical issues, explore betas, and drive platform performance.
- Proven experience managing and developing operational teams by working side-by-side with them. We are looking for a leader who does not just delegate, but is willing to work closely with the team, mentoring them, solving daily roadblocks, and actively participating in tactical decision-making (e.g., campaign shifts, budget reallocations).
- Strong analytical, tactical, and real-time decision-making skills. Ability to analyze campaign data on the fly and make quick, logical decisions on "where to run budget and why," backboned by a deep understanding of the operations.
- Proven experience in client relationship management, acting as a trusted strategic advisor who can translate complex technical retail media operations into business growth strategies for clients.
- Ability to work collaboratively and lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and Spanish (Professional Fluency/C1-C2 is required).
