This role is the perfect opportunity for an ambitious graduate, somebody early on in their media career or looking for a change to build an excellent foundation in media and account management operations. You will gain an understanding in the inner workings of a global media account building a solid grounding in the administration and business acumen that supports world-class activation of paid media for our client.
This role sits within the Operations team in the global account management team. Working closely with the wider global planning and strategy team, the function’s role is to ensure smooth end to end process from planning to reporting, financial management and campaign performance metrics are collated from the local markets and shared with the global clients.
The right candidate will have independent input into projects and the capacity to be involved in proactive asks and forward thinking to improve and build efficiencies on existing process.
You will work as part of the Booking.com team reporting into the Global Business Director.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Work with local markets to ensure their ongoing and ad-hoc deliverables are supplied to global for onward use with clients
- →Responsible (with support) for the update and distribution of the budget and changes tracker each month
- →Creation of the fortnightly industry newsletter and thought leadership, sharing with clients
- →Planning and strategy team support for data-driven tasks such as share of voice and spend calculations
- →Working with our reporting client on building out data stacks and solutions to help build efficiencies in this area
- →Keep abreast of EMEA media channel developments, understanding the landscape and keeping abreast any industry news.
- Successfully completes onboarding and training programme
- Is meeting the job requirements and delivering the preset responsibilities

Requirements
~3 min read- Positive, enthusiastic with a can-do attitude
- Open and clear communication style, not afraid to ask questions about the tasks set
- A team player who is interested in and excited to learn more about the world of global media and the travel industry
- Comfortable with the use of Excel spreadsheets (advance user is a plus but not a prerequisite)
- Calm approach to managing deadlines
- Enthusiasm and interest to go beyond the task – to find the insight in the data, or to identify a time-saver in a current process
- A desire to learn and to be involved in numerous workstreams
- Proactive nature with strong self-motivation to succeed
Essential Criteria
- Experience in media planning or other industry
- Inquisitive and eager to learn and develop as an excellent account administrator and manager
- Show an active interest and maintain knowledge of advertising industry at large
- Demonstrates a high degree of accuracy and numeracy in reviewing data sets
- Excellent organisational skills with excellent written, verbal, analytical and numerical skills
