The Senior Manager – Media Delivery is responsible for overseeing the operational execution and delivery of media plans across all channels while ensuring compliance with internal processes and industry best practices.
The role requires close coordination with internal teams, media vendors, and operational units to ensure smooth campaign implementation, accurate documentation, timely billing, and efficient collection processes. In addition to operational responsibilities, the role also requires providing expert guidance on media planning practices, industry standards, and campaign delivery approaches.
The Senior Manager will also play a key role in maintaining strong relationships with media partners, supporting client reviews where required, and ensuring operational trackers and reporting systems are consistently maintained.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- Ensure all media plans are prepared and maintained in the standard MBA format in accordance with company planning guidelines.
- Review and validate media plans before execution to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal processes.
- Provide expert knowledge and industry best practices to the planning team to ensure media strategies and plans are aligned with current market standards.
- Support planning teams in identifying the most effective media delivery approaches based on operational feasibility and industry practices.
- Participate in client reviews, planning discussions, and internal strategy meetings where operational input or delivery expertise is required.
- Ensure all necessary documentation and approvals are completed prior to campaign execution.
- Take ownership and facilitate the migration of MBA to Sri Lanka and transfer all operation which was done in India to Sri Lanka.
- Oversee the implementation and execution of media campaigns across all media channels.
- Coordinate with planning and operations teams to ensure campaigns are launched and delivered according to the approved media plans.
- Monitor campaign execution and address operational issues that may impact delivery.
- Manage relationships with media vendors, media partners, and platform representatives.
- Ensure smooth coordination with vendors for bookings, confirmations, and delivery requirements.
- Maintain strong professional relationships with vendors to facilitate efficient campaign execution.
- Support the operations team with day-to-day campaign management activities, including managing media channels and coordinating with vendors.
- Ensure operational processes are followed throughout campaign execution.
- Assist in resolving operational issues related to campaign delivery.
- Ensure timely billing of campaigns in accordance with internal financial processes.
- Work closely with finance and operations teams to ensure collections are received within the stipulated credit period.
- Monitor outstanding balances and escalate delays where necessary.
- Maintain and update all media delivery trackers, campaign trackers, and vendor trackers.
- Ensure operational records are accurate, up to date, and accessible for internal reporting.
- Support management reporting by providing relevant campaign and operational updates.
Performance for this role will be measured based on:
- Accuracy and compliance of media plans in MBA format
- Timely execution and delivery of campaigns
- Vendor relationship management
- Timely campaign billing
- Collections within the defined credit period
- Accuracy and maintenance of operational trackers
- Contribution to client reviews and planning discussions
- Operational efficiency and issue resolution
