About the Role

  • Lead and manage all HR operations in Bulgaria, including payroll, contracts, HR administration, and compliance.
  • Serve as the primary HR partner for management, supporting performance management, talent development, and employee relations.
  • Drive HR strategy and initiatives, including culture-building activities and engagement programs.
  • Manage relocation projects, ensuring smooth onboarding and integration of international hires.
  • Collaborate with global HR teams and HQ in the US to ensure alignment with company policies and practices.
  • Provide guidance on local labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Analyze HR metrics and provide insights to support decision-making.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a HR Manager or senior HR generalist in a global or multi-national company.
  • Experience handling employee populations of 200+.
  • Strong understanding of Bulgarian labor laws and HR compliance.
  • Hands-on experience with payroll, contracts, and HR administration.
  • Track record of strategic HR initiatives, such as performance management, culture development, and management partnering.
  • Ability to work independently, take ownership, and drive initiatives proactively.
  • Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating with HQ in the US or other global offices.

    Nice-to-Have:
  • Experience in relocation and onboarding of international employees.
  • Previous experience in a fast-growing or scaling company.
