YMCA Ayrlawn Facility Technician-Part Time

Position: Facility Technician The YMCA Ayrlawn Program Center is looking for a dependable and hands-on Part-Time Facility Technician to help maintain a safe, clean, functional, and welcoming environment for children, families, members, and staff. Responsibilities Perform routine facility maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance. Assist with basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, HVAC, and general repairs. Inspect facilities, equipment, and grounds and report safety or maintenance concerns. Respond to work orders and maintenance requests in a timely manner. Set up and move furniture, equipment, and supplies for programs and events. Maintain maintenance supplies, tools, and equipment. Support cleaning, safety, and general upkeep of the facility and grounds. Assist with urgent or emergency facility needs as required. Follow YMCA safety policies and applicable health and safety regulations. Qualifications Previous experience in facilities, building maintenance, construction, or a related field preferred. Basic knowledge of building systems and general repairs. Ability to safely use hand and power tools. Reliable, dependable, and able to work independently. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. Ability to lift and move equipment and supplies as needed.
