YMCA Bethesda-Chevy Chase Membership Service Representative

The YMCA of Metropolitan Washington is one of the largest charities in the DC area. The Y serves as an anchor in the community offering programs and services encompassing youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility.    Position: Membership Service Representative   Pay Rate: $16.50/hr      The YMCA Bethesda-Chevy Chase is seeking friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Part-Time Membership Service Representatives to join our team. As the first point of contact for members and guests, you'll help create a welcoming experience while supporting membership sales, program registration, and daily front desk operations.   Responsibilities Welcome members, guests, and visitors with exceptional customer service. Answer phones and respond to member questions. Process memberships, renewals, cancellations, and program registrations. Conduct tours for prospective members. Manage facility access and guest passes. Maintain accurate membership records and perform data entry. Keep the front desk clean, organized, and professional. Promote YMCA programs, services, and events. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous customer service, retail, or front desk experience is preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new software. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy. Positive attitude, reliability, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
