Video Editor with Game Capture (Contract)

We are seeking a Video Editor with Game Capture Capability for a 7-week part-time contract supporting a Major Gaming IP. This role focuses on fast-turnaround short-form vertical content and requires a strong understanding of gaming culture, pacing, and platform-native storytelling. You’ll collaborate closely with producers to maintain consistent weekly output across major social platforms.

• English: At least business-professional proficiency 
• German: Native or fluent

• →Produce 3–5 short-form vertical videos per week for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other vertical platforms.
• →Edit a variety of content including educational guides, quick updates, memes, holiday moments, giveaways, interactive posts, and repurposed footage.
• →Edit occasional long-form compilation videos from gameplay or streamer footage (e.g., boss kills, new classes, highlight reels).
• →Create short derivative cuts of long-form videos for vertical platforms.
• →Maintain clean pacing and platform-appropriate editing styles.
• →Collaborate closely with producers and follow established brand guidelines.

• Strong experience editing short-form vertical content.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro
• Ability to perform game capture with consistent, usable results. Strong familiarity with gaming and streaming culture, especially trends across TikTok and YouTube.
• Ability to work quickly without sacrificing clarity, timing, or platform fit.
• Excellent communication skills and comfort working independently on a part-time schedule.
