Zocdoc’s most important asset is our people. As a Staff Product Manager on our consumer marketplace team, you’ll play a critical role in accelerating Zocdoc’s mission to change healthcare. You’ll help shape a future where patients can access their coverage easily, find in network care and be backed by Zocdoc In-network Guarantee
- Personally motivated by improving our healthcare system
- Are not afraid of the complexity of how the health insurance system works
- The kind of person who thrives in ambiguity and can always come up with “crawl/walk/run” solutions
- Serious about your work, but not about yourself. Let’s face it - the way things are going, you kind of need a sense of humor
- Developing deep empathy and understanding of patient needs, pain points, and goals through research and collaboration with Design, Trust&Safety, Operations, Finance, UXR, and PMM teams
- Building a long-term vision and strategy aligned with company priorities
- Rolling up your sleeves to drive execution with deep complexity and at scale
- Driving impact through cross-functional collaboration, ensuring alignment between engineering, design, operations, and go-to-market partners
- 6+ years of experience in product management, ideally with B2C, marketplace and/or insurance products
- Strong communication and storytelling skills, both written and verbal
- A data-driven mindset and enthusiasm for analytical problem-solving with exceptional attention to detail
- A passion for telling stories with data and driving alignment through insights
- Experience with SQL, Redshift, Amplitude, Looker, or Salesforce is a plus
- An action-oriented attitude and roll-up-your-sleeves mentality
