Location: Budapest, XI. (On-site Monday to Thursday, Remote on Fridays)

Why We're Hiring for This Role

As our company continues to grow, we're looking for a mid-level Software Engineer with around 2-4 years of experience to join our collaborative development team. This role is ideal for someone who’s ready to deepen their technical skills, contribute to impactful projects, and grow within a fast-paced, agile environment. You’ll help build and improve customer-facing features, support product evolution, and work alongside experienced engineers to solve meaningful challenges.

Collaborating on the integration of AI models into scalable, customer-facing features

Tackling technical challenges and helping translate them into practical business solutions

Contributing to projects using our current tech stack: Python, MySQL, React, AWS, Kubernetes

Developing and maintaining features that enhance user experience and product performance

Writing clean, testable code and participating in code reviews to ensure quality

Working in an agile team with Product Managers, Designers, QA, and fellow developers

Participating in the full development lifecycle—from feasibility analysis to release

2+ years of experience with Python or a similar language in software development

Ability to understand and improve existing codebases, including adding tests and updating frameworks

Strong attention to detail and commitment to writing well-structured, maintainable code

Familiarity with distributed systems and asynchronous programming patterns is a plus

Experience documenting and maintaining software functionality to support team productivity

Interest in building tools that support automation, testing, and deployment workflows

2+ years of relevant software development experience

Strong communication skills in English and Hungarian

University Degree in Computer Science or similar

Familiarity with our tech stack: Python, Kubernetes, React, MySQL, AWS

Experience working in agile environments—ideally in startups or fast-moving tech teams

Curiosity about AI technologies and a willingness to stay current with industry trends is a plus
