We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our client in the Netherlands. This is a 100% remote position, offering a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge data projects and design sophisticated data warehousing solutions for a large-scale organization. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will play a key role in developing and deploying solutions based on Data Vault, Kimball, or Inmon methodologies, using advanced tools such as SQL Server, SSIS, and SSAS.

Responsibilities:

• Write complex stored procedures and queries in SQL Server.
• Design, implement, and deploy solutions based on Data Vault methodology.
• Design and deploy data warehousing solutions based on Kimball and/or Inmon methodologies.
• Implement and deploy SSIS ETL flows.
• Configure SSAS (multidimensional and tabular) to build data cubes.
• Work with reporting tools such as Tableau or PowerBI.
• Collaborate with stakeholders following SCRUM methodology and provide solutions aligned with the business goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• At least 9-10 years of relevant experience in software development and database design.
• Expertise in T-SQL and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Proven experience with Data Vault modelling.
• Strong knowledge of SSAS (multidimensional and tabular).
• Experience with SSIS ETL.
• Experience in configuring reporting tools such as Tableau or PowerBI.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and Agile SCRUM methodologies.
• Working knowledge of English at C1 level or higher.

Nice to Have:

• Experience in Flyway deployment.
• Understanding of CI/CD systems (e.g., TFS).
• Experience in database dimensional modelling.
