Job Description

In this role, you will support the design, deployment, and management of all Impossible Foods employee benefit programs.

You will ensure IF innovates and adapts its benefits programs to support business goals, staying ahead of market trends and ensuring our rewards framework remains market leading. You will be responsible for the analysis and administration of the global employee benefits programs.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Perform regular audits of eligibility, enrollment and payroll deductions using Workday, vendor, and ADP reports.
  • Manage benefit transactions in Workday.
  • Administer billing and reconciliation initiatives with the Finance and People leadership teams. This includes reconciliation of level-funded plans with service providers to ensure precise billing.
  • Communicate our benefits packages to employees, candidates, HR and business leadership in an inspiring way aligned with Impossible’s mission.
  • Administer leave of absence management programs including but not limited to FMLA, ADA, Worker’s Compensation, short and long-term disability, and personal leaves.
  • Partner with benefit vendors to resolve issues.
  • Maintain and manage 401(k) data and assist with compliance, including audit support.
  • Execute annual compliance processes, including Section 125 Testing, SFHCO and ACA
  • Collaborate with technology partners to streamline benefits administration and improve the employee experience in Workday.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities, leading practices and innovative approaches and tools to increase efficiencies and cost effectiveness.
  • Provide employee support and issue resolution.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of human resources experience in benefits and leave administration.
  • Workday benefits administration experience required.
  • Exercises judgment in managing confidential/sensitive information.
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations and compliance requirements related to benefits including but not limited to: ERISA, IRS, DOL, COBRA, HIPAA, ACA, etc.

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and balance multiple projects and stakeholders with appropriate sense of urgency.
  • Self-directed, energetic team player with strong customer service orientation.

$70,500 – $112,800 a year

This U.S. based, full-time position offers the above base salary range + equity + benefits + bonus for sales incentive plan roles. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
