Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Business Analyst who can bridge the gap between our customers’ needs and our development team’s execution. The ideal candidate will excel in gathering, analysing, and translating complex requirements into clear, actionable development tasks. Working within an agile, sprint-based methodology, the Business Analyst will play a crucial role in ensuring our solutions meet the requirements and are intuitive and easy to use.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and gather complex requirements.
- Translate customer requirements into detailed specifications for the development team.
- Work closely with UX designers to ensure requirements are aligned with user-centric design principles.
- Participate in Agile sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups to ensure continuous development.
- Act as a liaison between the development team and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and understanding of requirements.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including requirements, user stories, and process flows.
- Facilitate requirement prioritisation with stakeholders based on business value and technical complexity.
- Analyse existing processes and systems for improvements and recommend new solutions where necessary.
- Support the development team throughout the agile development process, clarifying requirements as needed.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in business analysis and agile methodologies
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst, within a software solution delivery setting.
- Strong experience in gathering and analysing complex requirements.
- Excellent knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in an Agile, sprint-based environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work closely with both non-technical stakeholders and technical development teams.
- Experience with business process improvement and working with diverse teams.
- Proficient in creating detailed reports and giving presentations.
- A strong understanding of software development and user experience design principles.
