We are on the lookout for a seasoned hosting sales professional with a strong background in selling Linux products. As our Business Development Manager at CloudLinux, you will play a key role in driving our sales initiatives and expanding our presence in the hosting sector. As our Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Engaging regularly with new and existing customers who are passionate and enthusiastic about our products.
  • Using your proactive and “hunter” approach to make initial contact with potential clients and explore new sales opportunities.
  • Effectively presenting our value proposition to decision-makers and key individuals within organizations.
  • Managing a pipeline of opportunities in Hubspot and maintaining regular communication on progress and status.
  • Identifying prospects who can serve as public advocates for CloudLinux through testimonials and case studies.
  • Working closely with company leadership to identify and pursue new market opportunities.
  • Collaborating with SEs and Customer Success Managers to ensure successful customer adoption and onboarding.


To be successful in this role you should have:

  • 3-5 years of sales experience, consistently achieving high close rates and rapid sales cycles.
  • Deep understanding of Linux infrastructure and/or security software in the hosting industry.
  • Excellent communication, organization, collaboration, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • Proven ability to build and nurture relationships, mitigate risks, and successfully close deals.
  • Familiarity with Hubspot is a valuable asset.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Hunter Personality: Demonstrates strong initiative and drive to pursue new sales leads and business opportunities.
  • Passionate and knowledgeable about technology, specifically in the domains of hosting and Linux.
  • Adept at data entry tasks with a focus on upselling and cross-selling.
  • Up to date passport
