Job Description: The Wilshire Group is seeking an experienced Cash Posting Manager Specialist to join our team on a remote basis. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the cash posting processes within healthcare systems, ensuring accurate and timely posting of payments, adjustments, and denials. Your expertise in Epic systems will be critical in optimizing cash flow and maintaining the financial integrity of our clients’ revenue cycles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the cash posting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
- Analyze and resolve discrepancies in payment postings, working closely with the billing and collections teams.
- Develop and implement best practices for cash posting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Train and mentor team members on cash posting procedures and Epic system utilization.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their specific needs and tailor cash posting strategies accordingly.
- Generate reports and provide insights on cash posting performance, identifying areas for improvement.
- Ensure timely and accurate reconciliation of accounts and adherence to financial policies.
- Stay updated on industry trends and Epic system enhancements to maintain cutting-edge practices.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in cash posting within a healthcare setting is required.
- Extensive experience with Epic systems, particularly in cash posting, is mandatory.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to train and guide team members.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong understanding of healthcare revenue cycle processes and regulations.
