Position Overview
The Compensation Operations Analyst (Tier II support) is a full-time role in the Total Rewards Center of Excellence. This role reports to the Senior Director, Global Compensation. The role will primarily serve to provide compensation support to the organization that require more in-depth Total Rewards knowledge that is escalated from AskHR. Other key activities:
- Provide operational level analysis and support to the broad-based compensation team, in support of the team’s objectives.
- Support the development, maintenance and enhancement of broad-based compensation infrastructure to maximize annual program cycles and market competitive analysis.
- Partner with various areas of HR and other functions to facilitate process efficiencies that guarantee data integrity.
- The role will further interact with other areas of Total Rewards and HR to include HRBPs, TA, and T&OD to address questions and solve issues pertaining to broad-based compensation.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and respond to Tier II level queries received from ServiceNow/AskHR. Escalate and/or resolve in partnership with Compensation Partners as appropriate.
- Maintain survey matches of all below Sr Director and below roles throughout Insulet (work with Carl on exact scope) and input to surveys on an annual basis.
- Monitor and respond to employee emails about salary range in partnership with Compensation Partners.
- Support the job requisition process by ensuring all compensation data elements exist or support Compensation Partners to create new job data elements for new roles as necessary.
- Provide Workday support to Compensation Partners to include create/edit job profiles, adding salary ranges, preparing EIB templates and other Workday edits as needed.
- Assist with monthly reporting requirements to include bonus accrual, XXX.
- Provide operational support for the implementation of new rewards programs, technology and processes.
- Ensures compliance with all governmental recordkeeping and reporting requirements for compensation programs.
- Support the compensation team’s vendor and consulting management by submitting invoices to accounts payable on a timely basis and creating new PO’s as necessary.
- Participates in the implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of HRIS.
- Assist with Compensation Projects as needed.
- Performs other duties as required.

- Workday experience, in particular Advanced Compensation
- Intermediate Microsoft excel and PowerPoint skills
- Experience on compensation fundamentals – job matching and market pricing, survey benchmarking, annual compensation cycle management, regulatory reporting.
- Experience with market survey sources such as Radford
Education and Experience
- 3+ years of related industry experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- Basic knowledge on existing and forward-looking regulatory environment related to compensation
