The Role

We are seeking a dynamic Corporate Recruiter who can balance the art and science of recruitment with a blend of professionalism and ingenuity.  Reporting to the Director of Talent Acquisition, you’ll manage multiple job requisitions across various stages of the Hazel recruiting process, all while ensuring timely fulfillment and delivering an exceptional candidate experience.  With a mindset of prioritization and organization, you’ll consistently exceed Hiring Manager expectations, embrace continuous improvement, and demonstrate performance excellence.

What You’ll Do

Candidate Pipeline Management and Qualification

  • Source stellar candidates from job boards, team referrals, and other creative channels.
  • Regularly review inbound applications, spot qualified gems and keep the pipeline flowing smoothly. 
  • Conduct first-round screenings with a discerning eye, assessing candidates’ knowledge, skills, and experience.

Candidate Evaluation Process Management and Facilitation

  • Collaborate with Hiring Managers to craft detailed job descriptions and hiring criteria.
  • Develop interview plans that include identifying interviewers, crafting interview themes, formulating insightful questions, and defining evaluation criteria.
  • Provide proactive guidance to Hiring Managers and interviewers on hiring decisions.  

Offer Process

  • Manage the offer approval process with precision, ensuring all details are spot on.
  • Organize and manage the reference process for all candidates with thoroughness. 
  • Extend verbal offers and manage salary negotiations in coordination with the Director of Recruiting and Finance team.

Minimum Requirements

  • 3+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems, recruitment software, and sourcing tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to use data and metrics to drive decisions and measure success.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong organizational skills enabling you to manage multiple priorities and tasks effectively.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a proven track record of delivering a positive candidate and hiring manager experiences.
