Creative Marketing/Partnerships Manager (Acquisition) | Colossal | £75k-£95k | Remote (USA, Europe, UK)
Job Description
We’re building the next generation of music discovery and monetisation tools for music creators, and reshaping how artists connect and make great music. Our mission is huge: to power the future of music for the internet… and we’re starting with a revolutionary new social marketplace.
Our background
Colossal is founded by Paul Anthony, Founder of one of the world’s fastest growing fintech companies, Primer — and as is backed by Europe’s most influential investors.
As a hobbyist producer of 10+ years, Paul grew frustrated by archaic platforms geared towards music producers wanting to make a living off their works, and felt current offerings had not kept up with the pace of innovation across the creator economy.
🤫 Shh… we’re in stealth-mode
Fresh off a fundraise, we’re building out our founding team and are looking for enormously ambitious, hugely pragmatic, highly experienced forward-thinkers to join us on our journey. Our product is game-changing, and so must our team be.
We’re not just looking for music folks. If you’re passionate about building beautiful, bold products, and are always thinking about “what’s next?” then this could be the opportunity for you.
What you will be doing
This is a unique opportunity to shape our product launch strategy, and marketing efforts moving forward. You will be tasked with implementing our initial customer acquisition strategy, driving user signups ahead of launch through creative partnerships (paid, promotional, co-marketing) and promotional activities.
You will implement measurable marketing initiatives in order to drive user signup and bring engagement to the platform. You will establish a pipeline of music-related influencers and content creators to produce branded promotional content. You will implement paid ads, and kickstart our initial content strategy.
There’s an exciting community element to this role, which will see you cultivating a community of music producers and artists through Discord, et al., IRL workshops, writing camps and other events across the UK and USA.
Requirements
Must have strong experience defining, and launching marketing campaigns for new products; experience implementing influencer programs and other partnerships for promotional, and co-marketing purposes. You will have worked in the music tech industry, and can bring a roster of contacts with you to hit the ground running.
