Position Overview:

Viator is seeking a Customer/Community Marketer to join our marketing team. The ideal candidate will focus on building and nurturing a vibrant community around the Viator brand, both online and offline, to drive customer success, engagement and referrals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to build and grow a thriving community of users and advocates.
  • Foster relationships with customers, gathering insights and feedback to inform marketing strategies and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Assist in the release and promotion of new Product updates and roll-outs
  • Organize and host community events, both virtual and in-person, to facilitate networking and knowledge-sharing among users.
  • Collaborate with partners to create and execute webinars, workshops, and other community-building activities.
  • Actively identify and lead new initiatives to enhance customer engagement and loyalty.
  • Work closely with the marketing and sales team to integrate community initiatives into broader marketing campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the greater Tripadvisor group to leverage synergies and promote the brand within the larger travel community.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Demonstrates a passion for building and fostering communities.
  • Understands how community engagement positively impacts customer satisfaction and business goals.
  • Keeps abreast of the latest trends in community marketing and customer engagement.
  • Has at least 2 years of hands-on experience in community marketing or a related role, with a track record of successful community-building initiatives.
  • Can effectively prioritize tasks and adjust strategies based on community feedback and needs.
  • Proactively identifies challenges, improves processes, and challenges the status quo.
  • Has a keen interest in travel and technology.
