The Deal Desk Manager will act as a trusted and strategic partner to sales and cross-functional teams to optimize the deal lifecycle, scale operations and drive growth and profitability delivering the best outcomes for and our customers while executing with Speed.

Responsibilities

  • Partner in a trusted advisor capacity to field sales and other internal partners.

  • Oversee and support day-to-day quote management & approvals.

  • Operate within established SLAs, ensuring timely delivery of compliant and commercially sound offers with field sales.

  • Provide thought leadership to develop innovative deal structures, handle risk within the contractual terms and structure and educate the sales team on optimal deal configuration and bundles.

  • Partner with Billing team

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on non-standard deal requests, special pricing, operations, approval policies, commercial terms, and troubleshooting of deal issues and sales escalations across our executive leadership team.

  • Develop best practices for pricing and commercial terms, based on the improved use of data and market knowledge to support decision making.

  • Collaborate with Sales management to effectively coordinate and lead month and quarter end deal closure.

  • Independently scope and implement project work with minimum oversight to optimize existing processes and work with stakeholders to develop, test, and deploy new features, enhancements, and updates.

Some key qualifications

  • Have 6+ years of experience in a Deal Desk or GTM Operations function with a global sales team

  • Superior analytical background within strong problem solving skills

  • Prior use of a CPQ solution

  • Thorough understanding of standard business practices related to GTM Operations processes and systems.

  • Positive team player and effective communicator with all levels of management and cross-functional organizations
