What you’ll do

DocuSign is looking for a dedicated and experienced DEI Business Partner to join our Global Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion team. In this strategic role, you will collaborate with specified business units to create and implement long-term DEI strategies, driving meaningful initiatives that promote a more inclusive and equitable working environment. You will be a valued adviser to business leaders, HR partners, and senior leadership, using your knowledge to boost DEI initiatives and support best practices.

This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Culture & Engagement Director.

Responsibility

  • Consult with senior executive business unit executives to establish and implement yearly DEI strategic plans that match with DocuSign’s overarching DEI goal.
  • Design and manage global and functional employee engagement initiatives that create a diverse and inclusive workplace, encouraging a feeling of belonging for all.
  • Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team on recruiting procedures for mid-level and higher, offering useful insights to guarantee a varied candidate pool.
  • Identify and suggest DEI programming ideas for implementation across the company, assuring effectiveness and impact.
  • Promote DEI projects through frequent communication across business units, such as delivering updates at town halls and leadership meetings.
  • As a trusted adviser to various business unit working groups, provide strategic counsel and help on DEI issues.
  • Analyze data to uncover patterns and create actionable insights for business executives and HR Business Partners, guiding strategic decision-making.
  • Support the overall DEI team with operational activities and special projects as needed, displaying good cooperation skills.

Job Designation

Remote: Employee is not required to be in or near an office frequently and works from a designated remote work location for the majority of the time.

What you bring

Basic

  • 8+ years of experience working cross-functionally in a complicated corporate setting
  • 8+ years of proven successful expertise in program management and delivery, particularly in the DEI domain.
  • Proven track record in establishing and implementing strategic initiatives for business divisions.
  • Experience with change management and successfully negotiating stakeholder interactions across varied groups in an enterprise context.
  • Proven capacity to adapt and prosper in a fast-paced atmosphere, welcoming change with a resilient and solution-oriented approach.
  • Demonstrated ability to interact successfully with cross-functional teams while demonstrating flexibility and agility
  • Experience planning and delivering data-driven initiatives, with expertise managing dynamic budgets.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced workplace while prioritizing efficiently, adapting to changing demands, and keeping colleagues informed.

Preferred

  • Strong facilitation and coaching abilities, with the ability to engage and encourage individuals and teams toward shared goals.
  • Deep awareness and appreciation for variety that includes cultural background, ethnicity, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, and other intersecting distinctions.
  • Outstanding communication, writing, teamwork, and project management abilities.
  • Strong program/project management abilities with the ability to manage complicated tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) or a comparable combination of education, training, and relevant experience
  • Experience working in a high-tech, fast-paced, hyper-growth environment.
  • Worked in a multicultural workplace and supported a worldwide staff.

Wage Transparency

Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:

  • California: $118,300 – $182,775 base salary
  • Illinois and Colorado: $111,600 – $153,525 base salary
  • Washington and New York (including NYC metro area): $111,600 – $162,625 base salary

This role is also eligible for bonus, equity and benefits.
