We’re looking to add to another talented DevOps Engineer to our team and play a crucial role in the development of new features, debugging, fixing and continuous test findings.
Major Responsibilities
- Maintain and create CI/CD pipelines.
- Manage multiple environments in production and non-production in AWS.
- Maintain and implement a microservices architecture through service mesh via container orchestration based on Kubernetes.
- Troubleshoot common build and deployment issues.
- Improve and maintain IaC configuration using Terraform to easily provision the infrastructure.
- Improve security and harden images for frontend and backend applications.
- Write and maintain lambda functions using python to automate some recurrent jobs.
- Create alerts, notifications and monitor the usage and failure of resources using CloudWatch, Grafana, Prometheus, Loki.
- Improve, monitor and maintain the backup and recovery techniques.
- Work closely with security, compliance and architecture team to implement and maintain security recommendation and best practices following SOC2 and PCI.
Skills & Abilities
- Proven experience with Kubernetes and Docker containers;
- Knowledge of Source Control Systems such as Github, GitLab and Bitbucket;
- Strong background utilzing CI/CD tools such as GitHub actions, Bitbucket pipeline and Jenkins;
- Basic knowledge in programming: Python, C# and Javascript;
- Knowledge of ticketing systems such as GitHub issues and Jira;
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer systems engineering, software engineering, or mathematics; related experience within the field will also be considered;
- Working experience in a PCI and/or SOC2 compliant environment (nice to have);
- Working experience in the Fintech industry (nice to have);
