About the Position:

seeks a dynamic Director of Sales to lead and manage a team of Account Executives to drive revenue growth. This includes developing and executing sales strategies, identifying new business opportunities, establishing relationships with key clients, and providing guidance and support to the sales team.

In this quota-carrying role, you’ll be responsible for prospecting and closing new businesses across North America, managing forecasts, and tracking customer data. You will lead the sales and customer expansion processes, ensuring a smooth experience for prospective clients.

Thriving in a fast-paced environment, you will collaborate with a motivated team to contribute to the company’s success. Ideally, you have a technical background and experience selling MLOps products.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver on annual net-new business sales goals
  • Lead, inspire, and grow the Sales team, providing mentorship and guidance to help them meet their individual and team goals.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans that align with the company’s overall objectives and revenue goals
  • Get involved in the largest, most strategic deals, managing executive relationships and helping the team get the deal over the finish line
  • Personally manage a sales quota, driving individual results alongside team performance, and ensuring a high level of engagement and success in both prospecting and closing new business
  • Collaborate with other departments (such as Marketing, Customer Success, Finance, and Product) to ensure the sales team has the necessary resources and support to effectively hit their targets
  • Keep up to date with industry trends and best practices, and make recommendations for new sales techniques or technologies to help the company stay ahead of the competition
  • Establish and maintain a strong sales culture that promotes teamwork, accountability, and a focus on achieving results
  • Provide clear visibility on pipeline performance by accurately managing team metrics

Requirements:

  • Ability to operate in a highly ambiguous and fast-paced environment
  • 2+ years experience in enterprise AE management, selling enterprise-focused developer tools to technical buyers/users, preferably at a company selling to people directly involved in the ML/AI development process.
  • 5+ years closing annual contracts of at least $100k/year, and handling yearly team quotas of $10mm+
  • Strong technical background
  • Proven track record of recruiting, hiring, and scaling world-class global teams
  • Proven track record closing multi-year seven-figure deals
