Position: Data Analyst

Work Hours: US Eastern Time (flexible)

Location: Fully Remote

Primary Responsibilities

Data Analysis and Insights:

  • Analyze large sets of eCommerce data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for growth.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance metrics such as sales, conversion rates, customer acquisition costs, and lifetime value.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve overall business performance and achieve KPIs.

Performance Optimization:

  • Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to optimize performance marketing strategies.
  • Use data-driven insights to identify opportunities for improving user acquisition, conversion, and retention across various channels.
  • Conduct A/B testing and other experimentation methodologies to continuously optimize marketing and product performance.

Campaign Management Support:

  • Assist in planning, launching, full-funnel marketing campaigns.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations for campaign optimization across platforms (Meta, Google, TikTok,etc)
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance, providing insights to improve ROI and achieve growth targets.

User Experience and CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization):

  • Analyze user behavior and site performance to identify areas for improvement
  • Optimize conversion funnels and landing pages based on insights to enhance engagement/retention.
  • Implement/analyze A/B tests to drive continuous improvement in conversion rates.
  • Reporting and Collaboration:
  • Generate regular reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, product, and IT to ensure data-driven decision-making.
  • Maintain a data-driven approach to all initiatives, leveraging advanced analytics tools and methodologies.

Requirements

  • Valid certifications/and or work samples with relevant analytics tools/platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, SQL).
  • Proven experience in data analysis within an eCommerce or digital marketing environment.
  • Proficient in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, R, Python)
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Strong analytical skills with a growth mindset and obsession with KPIs
  • Nice to have experience with eCommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, SFMC and CC).
