Job Title: EDI Implementation Specialist

Schedule: US Business Hours (PST)

Salary Range: USD 1000-1600/month

We are a leading co-packer in the food industry, committed to delivering high-quality products to our customers. As we expand our operations, we are looking for an experienced EDI Implementation Specialist to join our team. This role is crucial for ensuring the seamless integration of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) processes, with a primary focus on SPS Commerce and Plex.com ERP systems.

Responsibilities:

• EDI Implementation: Lead the implementation and integration of EDI processes, ensuring efficient communication between our systems and those of our partners, including retailers, suppliers, and logistics providers.
• SPS Commerce Expertise: Utilize your in-depth knowledge of SPS Commerce to manage and configure EDI transactions, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with trading partner requirements.
• ERP Integration: Apply your expertise in Plex.com ERP to integrate EDI solutions within our existing ERP framework, optimizing processes for greater efficiency and accuracy.
• Project Management: Oversee EDI implementation projects from start to finish, including planning, scheduling, and allocating resources to ensure timely and successful completion.
• Troubleshooting & Support: Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for EDI-related issues, working closely with IT and other departments to quickly and effectively resolve problems.
• Documentation & Training: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of EDI processes, configurations, and workflows. Train internal teams on EDI best practices and usage.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance EDI processes, improve data accuracy, and streamline operations across the supply chain.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in EDI implementation, specifically with SPS Commerce and Plex.com ERP, ideally in a manufacturing or food production environment.
• Strong knowledge of EDI standards (e.g., ANSI X12, EDIFACT), with proficiency in SPS Commerce and Plex.com ERP system functionalities.
• Ability to analyze complex data and processes, identify issues, and implement effective solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
• Proven track record of managing and successfully delivering EDI projects on time and within budget.
• Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring data accuracy and process efficiency.
