We seek an experienced Enterprise Architect to join our team and drive architectural and design strategies encompassing the Zerto platform for our valued customers. The successful candidate will build trusted relationships with key stakeholders, provide domain expertise in public cloud and enterprise technology, and support Sales Engineers in delivering exceptional Proof of Concepts and helping drive technical wins. With a focus on optimizing solutions and providing best practice advice, this role will play a pivotal part in enhancing customer experiences and driving business value. This is a teleworker position and can be based anywhere within the United States.
Responsibilities:
- Build a trusted advisory relationship with strategic accounts and engage with Architects, VP engineering, CTO and CIO, and identify customer priorities, technical objections, and design strategies encompassing the Zerto platform to deliver business value and resolve technical objections.
- Provide domain expertise around public cloud and enterprise technology, and effectively promote the Zerto Platform with customers, at conferences, and online.
- Make recommendations on sizing and scale considerations, architectural modeling, automation, and reference solutions required to successfully implement a complete solution providing best practice advice to customers to optimize Zerto.
- Assist the Sales Engineering team to provide support for Proof of Concepts and helping drive technical closure.
- Develop and lead SME (subject matter expert) team and work with SME team leads with education and enablement activities.
- Manage the holistic enterprise architecture relationship with customers by collaborating with specialists, product management, engineering, and more.
- Travel to customer sites, conferences, and other related events up to ~50%.
Requirements:
- 7-10+ years of experience as an enterprise architect in either a cloud computing environment or equivalent experience in a customer-facing role.
- Understanding of large-scale computing solutions and the enterprise technology buying and evaluation process.
- The successful candidate must have a fundamental breadth of technical knowledge in cloud data management, backup and disaster recovery.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated and a self-starter, comfortable working remotely and autonomously.
- Strong practical understanding of Datacenter and Cloud architecture (VMWare, Azure, AWS, GCP, etc.…).
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment; the ability to handling multiple calls/demos per day with immediate follow up.
- Strong experience with PowerShell, shell scripting or REST API scripting
- Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience.
Highly Preferred Skills:
- Experience building, architecting, designing, and implementing highly-distributed global cloud-based systems. Experience in network infrastructure, security, data, or application development.
- Strong Linux or UNIX administration skills & familiarity with the installation and configuration of Linux or UNIX operating systems & setup and operation of TCP/IP networking on Linux or UNIX systems.
- Experience with KVM based hypervisors.

USD Annual Salary: $139,700.00 – $313,900.00Estimated job application period closure is October 2024.
