As a valued colleague on our team, you will contribute to assessing and identifying potential risks that may threaten our reputation, safety, security, and/or financial success, as well as collaborate with team in communicating and collaborating with key stakeholders across the enterprise, and understanding business objectives
THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE
The Enterprise Operational Risk – Risk Management – Senior Associate role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:
- Provide Independent Challenge on risk management activities performed by the first line of defense (1LOD), including Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSAs), risk assessments for new business initiatives, and strategic initiatives with a focus on Multifamilyand/or Legal Risk.
- Evaluate application of methods, models, and analytical templates used to determine business areas that pose potential risks to the enterprise.
- Collaborate with team to evaluate and advise on the impact of proposed risks to the enterprise.
- Review processes to reduce risk using rigorous analysis.
- Partner with team to review and provide feedback to management on resolutions and control guidelines.
Qualifications
THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM
Minimum Required Experience
- 2 years of risk management experience, 4 years of experience preferred.
Desired Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Risk assessment and management skills including evaluating and designing controls, conducting impact assessments, identifying control gaps and remediating risk
- Influencing skills including negotiating, persuading others, facilitating meetings, and resolving conflict
- Adept at managing project plans, resources, and people to ensure successful project completion
- Must be able to work with individuals having a different functional expertise respectfully and cooperatively while working toward a common goal
